2 grants for uniformed services

The Long Island Institute of Sex Therapy (LIIST) has 2 grants available for 2 individuals, couples, relationships, families, or households where at least one member is employed in Uniformed Services.

Your sessions will be free for up to one year, and will be with a LIIST staff therapist, who will be paid their usual rate.

*What does uniformed services mean?*

Those employed in uniformed services are people who wear a distinct uniform that differentiates them from the general public. Their purpose is to maintain the peace, security, safety, and health of the public they serve.

Examples include postal workers, military personnel, police officers, emergency medical technicians, and firefighters.

For this grant, we will also accept applications from those employed in medical settings such as hospitals and clinics. This can include technicians, medical doctors, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, and maintenance staff.
