Drew Ladew, MHC
Drew Ladew earned an MSEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University and she holds an initial license as a Mental Health Counselor.
Drew approaches therapy from a solution-focused and person-centered approach. She begins by meeting the client where they are and utilizes unconditional positive regard as she encourages and supports a client to achieve their goals. Drew believes in using evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to help her clients. Educating and empowering the individuals, couples, and families she works with is a passion for Drew.
She has a specific interest in supporting clients who are discovering their identities so they can accept themselves by overcoming anxiety and negative feelings. She enjoys working with a range of clients and has considerable experience working with young adults and adults. Drew is most excited to work with clients in the LGBTQIIA+ community and clients who are involved in alternative lifestyles.
Drew’s colleagues often describe her as “organized, calming, insightful, helpful, and present.” Her work is trauma-informed and solution-focused.
She is a member in good standing of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Drew had completed Level 1 of the Gottman Relationship Method of couples therapy.
